Counting Singing and Telling
Counting, singing, telling and dreaming
Of animals that jump over a fence,
I want to find a game
That makes me go to bed.
Lets go playing, singing and telling
Of animals that jump over a fence,
Please somebody tell me of any animal
That I can count while jumping over a fence.
Lets count Flamingos.
Flamingos can never be counted,
Because the wind will mess up their hair
And the fence they won’t jump
Because their reputation will never be the same.
Chorus
Lets count Roosters
No rooster wants ever to be counted
Because they wake up when the sun is not even shining
When they jump on the fence they stay right on top
And they only want to sing Kikiriki
Chorus
Lets Count turtles
Turtles, my slow friends,
Love to be counted,
Slowly, slowly
They walk with no hurry
But they are so slow, That they never arrive to the goal,
And the fence they never jump.
I think with another animal
I got to try.
Chorus
Lets count rabbits
Far away I see mister rabbit coming
With his children that are all running
Lets count them all
Until I can go to sleep,
One, two, three, four, twenty, twenty-one Noooo
Chorus
Let count sheep.
All in order and with pace,
All the sheep jump the fence with grace,
My pillow is near now, I don’t want to count any more
All I want is to snore..
