Antes de la carrera contra el tiempo…
Taz el tigre, torpe y tímido,
temblaba al tomar su té de tilo.
Tigres grandotes, con trajes de trote,
tomaban su té en tazas, siempre al tope.
Tina la tortuga, tranquila y tenaz,
tomaba su té sin moverse jamás.
“Taz,” dijo Tina con voz de tambor,
“¡No gana el más fuerte, gana el mejor!”
Tor, el tío tigre rugiendo llegó,
¡y la tetera tembló y titiritó,
Tilín el gato, en su siesta feliz,
abrió un ojo y volvió a dormir.
Taz sonrió, su taza vació,
¡y todos dijeron: “¡Valor encontró!”
Desde ese día toma té sin temblar,
pues con sus amigos y su te de tilo especial,
halló el coraje que lo hizo brillar.

Before the great race against time began…
Taz the tiger, clumsy and shy,
trembled while sipping his linden tea by.
Big, bold tigers, in trotting attire,
drank from their cups, filled ever higher.
Tina the turtle, so steady, so wise,
sipped her tea slowly, with calm in her eyes.
“Taz,” said Tina, her voice like a drum,
“the best isn’t the strongest — that’s not where it’s from.”
Thor, the old uncle, came roaring with might,
and the teapot trembled with shivers and fright.
Tilín the cat, in his nap so sweet,
peeked with one eye, then went back to sleep.
Taz gave a smile, he finished his tea,
and all of them cheered: “Found courage, you see!”
From that day on, he drank tea with no fear,
for with friends and his linden, his courage was clear —
and it made his bright spirit shine year after year.
