Historias A-puntadas
La luna perdió su arete
La luna perdió su arete
Y no lo puede encontrar,
La noche está muy oscura
Y lo quiere ir a buscar.
¡Ay! Que triste está la luna,
porqué ya no va a brillar,
ha perdido su diamante
y no volverá a alumbrar.
Se va donde su amigo el sol
A ver si la quiere ayudar.
El sol dice: ¡Es muy temprano querida,
Yo no quiero madrugar”.
La luna está ahora muy triste
Y se pone a llorar.
Cae una lágrima, cae otra,
Ya esta lluvia no va a parar.
Cae una gota, luego otra,
Esta lluvia no parará,
No parará jamás.
Cada gota forma un río
Que al arete logra alcanzar,
Y llega con tanta fuerza
Que con la tierra lo hace chocar;
Y se parte en mil pedazos
Que salen a volar,
Y al mismo cielo van a dar.
Cuentan, que cada parte es ahora una estrella
Que acompaña por siempre a la luna,
Y así la noche no sea tan oscura,
Y su arete no vuelva a extrañar;
Y por siempre pueda brillar.
Y por siempre pueda brillar.

Historias A-puntadas
The Moon lost her earing
THE MOON LOST HER EARRING
The moon has lost her earring
And can’t find it anywhere.
The night is very dark now.
She knows she will need some help.
Oh! How sad the moon appears
She knows she will have no shine.
She has lost her diamond earring.
Now she’ll never be as bright.
She goes to her friend, the sun
Seeking for light and help.
The sun says
“It’s pretty early, my darling.
You really have to wait”.
The moon is very sad now.
She starts crying with a frown.
One-tear drops, then another.
The rain will not stop right now.
One-tear drops, then another.
A river is sweeping now.
It’s pouring down from the sky.
The river came strongly flowing.
And caught the earring as it fell.
Smashing it into pieces
With all its strength and might.
It broke to million pieces
That flew up to the sky.
That flew up to the sky.
They say that every broken piece is a star now
That lights up the sky for the moon.
So she never misses her diamond,
And she shines as if she had it too.
Stars forever make her shine.
She will always shine as bright.
