Un Deseo del Corazón
(cuento–oración para leer antes de colgar el regalo en el árbol)
Esta noche de luces y estrellas,
frente al árbol de Navidad,
miro mi casa llena de abrazos
y pienso en aquellos que quizá no los tendrán.
Hay niños en muchos lugares
que hoy no podrán celebrar,
quizá no tengan juguetes,
ni dulces, ni un hogar.
Cierro los ojos y pido un deseo,
muy fuerte, desde el corazón:
que todos los niños del mundo
sientan amor y emoción.
En mi bolsillo, oculto
hay un objeto muy especial,
no es solo un juguete pequeño,
es un regalo para dar.
Lo colgaré en el árbol brillante,
para que su magia pueda viajar,
y con la ayuda de mamá y papá
a otro niño le pueda llegar.
Mañana temprano me acercaré al árbol,
y con una sonrisa recordaré:
que el mejor regalo no es recibir,
Es el deseo profundo de compartir
Y que alguien mas también pueda ser feliz.

A Wish from the Heart
(a bedtime prayer–story to read before hanging the gift on the tree)
Tonight, under lights and stars so bright,
I sit by the Christmas tree’s soft light.
I look around my home so warm,
and think of children in the storm.
Some may have no gifts to share,
no sweets, no laughter in the air.
So I close my eyes and make a wish—
a gentle one, from my heart’s dish:
May every child, near or far,
feel love and joy beneath a star.
Inside my pocket, hidden and small,
lies something special—my gift to all.
It’s more than a toy, it’s love to send,
a gift of kindness, to reach a friend.
I’ll hang it high on the glowing tree,
so its magic can travel far from me.
With Mom and Dad, I’ll find a way
to share my heart this Christmas Day.
And when morning light fills the sky,
I’ll smile and know, without asking why—
the best gift is not the one we receive,
but the joy we give and the love we leave.
If I had it in my power,
Childrens’ life would be all laughter.
If I could give you a piece of my happiness
I will gladly it put in a piece of cake
So you could have have it.
I would jump as high as I could
To reach out and share with you….
